About Us
Serving the Shreveport/Bossier Area
We began our Food Ministry in partnership with the NW Food Bank of Shreveport in 2015. In the beginning, we were working out of a single "pantry", serving around 30-40 families a month. Since then, we have made several adjustments from working out of our gym, to now offer curb side service. We distribute food to well over 120 families each month.
It is a monumental effort each week, receiving food, organizing, sorting and preparing for distribution on the third Monday of the Month . Our volunteer team, lead in part by Andy DeLancy, Kevin McCoy and Pastor David, do everything from moping the floor to praying with clients (which is our great privilege). Our volunteers are a mixture of our GracePointe Church Family, Clients who want to give back and people from our community that enjoy helping! If you have a little time available and would like to help out, we'd love to have you. Simply fill out the form below and someone will be in contact with you!

If you are in need of food, we can help! Our food bank is open the third MONDAY of the month (except if there is a holiday, you will be notified of any changes) from 3:30 pm - 5:30 pm.
New clients will need to bring their ID and proof of income (bank statement, check or paperwork if you are on any other assistance) with you on your first visit. You will also be asked to fill out a form as well. Recertification takes place once a year.
If you need further assistance, you can call the church at 318-686-8802 and leave a message on the Food Ministry line. Someone will contact you per your request.
