Come Peasant King: HOPE – Psalm 25:1-10
THERE IS HOPE IN SURRENDER! (v. 1-3)
SURRENDER LEADS TO FORMATION (v. 4-9)
GOD CONTINUES TODAY TO PROVE TRUSTWORTHY, FAITHFUL
& WORTHY OF OUR HOPE (v. 10)
FORMATION LEADS TO ACTION (v. 11-22)
As we are transformed and learn to follow Christ,
we must also take the light of hope
into a world that desperately needs it.
Come Peasant King: HOPE – Psalm 25:1-10
THERE IS HOPE IN SURRENDER! (v. 1-3)
- This act of surrender and trust goes hand in hand with hope.
SURRENDER LEADS TO FORMATION (v. 4-9)
- Once the psalmist surrenders, they are open and moldable to becoming the person God is calling them to be.
GOD CONTINUES TODAY TO PROVE TRUSTWORTHY, FAITHFUL
& WORTHY OF OUR HOPE (v. 10)
- God is faithful and trustworthy, even when God’s people are not.
FORMATION LEADS TO ACTION (v. 11-22)
- We light the candle of hope not to hoard hope but to share it with others.
As we are transformed and learn to follow Christ,
we must also take the light of hope
into a world that desperately needs it.
