The Word of the Lord: Acts 11:1-3 MSG
“The news traveled fast, and in no time, the leaders and friends back in Jerusalem heard about it—heard that the non-Jewish “outsiders” were now “in.” When Peter got back to Jerusalem, some of his old associates, concerned about circumcision, called him on the carpet: “What do you think you’re doing rubbing shoulders with that crowd, eating what is prohibited and ruining our good name?”

•When the church gained traction, people began to criticize them.


Acts 11:4-15
 Peter Explains his Ministry to the Gentiles.

•Peter explained it to them in order from the beginning.


•What God has cleansed you must not call unclean.


•The Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning.


Acts 11:16-18

•If, therefore, God gave them the same gift as He gave us when we believed in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I could withstand God?

•They became silent.


•It is not us and them. It is us.
