Excavate – ACTS 24

The Word of the Lord: Acts 24: 24-26:

“Several days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish. He sent for Paul and listened to him as he spoke about faith in Christ Jesus. 25 As Paul talked about righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, “That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.” 26 At the same time he was hoping that Paul would offer him a bribe, so he sent for him frequently and talked with him.”

The Gospel Does Some Things for Us.
It makes us a new creation.
It brings us from death to life.
It rescues us from darkness and brings us into the life of Jesus.

•  When We Hear the Gospel, it will be Revealed to Us What is Controlling Our Lives.

•  An Inconvenient Gospel Reveals What is Going On in Our Spiritual Lives.

I Peter 2:24, “He himself bore our sins” in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; “by his wounds you have been healed.”

What Acts 24 Teaches Us is This:

•The Gospel Reveals Our Unrighteousness.

•The Gospel Reveals Who’s in Control.

•The Gospel Helps Us to Look at Our Life God’s Way...
