Excavate: Acts 4
I Corinthians 6:11, “And that is what some of you were, but you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”
THE WORD OF THE LORD: ACTS 4:10-13
What does it look like when we have been with Jesus?
Differences in the Believer’s Life in Acts 4
Acts 4:32, “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.”
Genesis 17:8, “...The whole land of Canaan, where you now reside as a foreigner, I will give as an everlasting possession to you and your descendants after you...
Acts 4:13, “When they saw the courage of Peter and John... they took note.”
Courage is this: You can do things in the face of fear because God is “EIMI” (Past-Present-Future)
Where is Your Focus this Morning?
Jesus's life was more impactful when he was gone into heaven. Why?
Because his followers chose not to focus on the mess in their lives
but on the message in their lives.
