GPNAZ TEACHING OUTLINE – JULY 21, 2024
Excavate: Acts 27-28

In Matthew 28, He says what we know to be the Great Commission.
“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Acts 26:17-18, “I am sending you to them (the unbelievers) to turn them from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God so they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who have been sanctified by faith.”

I am sending you to teach them about salvation, but do not stop there.
I want you to teach them about sanctification.

  • The anchor must be tied to the boat. The rope is our faith, and the anchor is Jesus. But if we are not tied to their anchor, it is of no use to us.

  • Storms can be a great way to enable us to prioritize our lives.

  • The bottom of your storm is when you have done everything there is to do, and you still wonder if you will make it.

  • The eternal things have to do with salvation and sanctification.

Our Mission of Worshiping, Growing, and Serving
is what we strive to do to be the Church God is calling us to be.

Chapter 28 is the end of the book but not the end of the story.
Who is writing the rest of the story?
Chapter 29, 30, 31...YOU are writing it!

It is about God's Plan to Make Disciples.
