The Question is Before Us: Can We Have Joy During Patient Suffering?

• Patience means more than endurance - it means forbearance. 

 

• We are called to be patient and stand firm as the Lord’s coming draws near.

 

• We look to the prophets as an example of patience in the face of suffering.

 
The church leaders preached “the day of the Lord” drawing near, even during suffering.
 
Is there a connection between being blessed and being joyful?

Our waiting is not in vain. Christ has come, and Christ will return.
 
We endure because we know we are not alone, even during suffering.
Christ has come, 
Christ is with us,
 and Christ will come again.
