The Word of the Lord: Luke 24:44-53

The Gospel of Luke shows that "discipleship" is tied to "Lordship." 
Proof of Discipleship...

• Obedience to the instructions of Jesus.

• Willing to go wherever and do whatever Jesus asks.

• We need to carry our cross to identify with Jesus.

• Understanding that while salvation is free, discipleship is not.

• Rewards are partial here and complete in heaven.

Jesus helps His disciples do what the Holy Spirit can help us do daily as Christ’s disciples today.
