Breadcrumbs: the handshake – Ezekiel 25-48
Ezekiel 33:31-32
“My people come to you, as they usually do, and sit before you to hear your words, but they do not put them into practice. Their mouths speak of love, but their hearts are greedy for unjust gain. 32 Indeed, to them you are nothing more than one who sings love songs with a beautiful voice and plays an instrument well, for they hear your words but do not put them into practice.”
The valley of dry bones, a story of hope and a story of promise.
He is walking through this valley of bones…
And God asks him a question that seems ridiculous.
“Can these bones live?”
Ezekiel 37:7,” So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.”

Ezekiel 37:7,” So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.”
- This whole vision of Ezekiel was designed to be a forerunner to what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 19, He said, nothing is impossible with God.
