Lifeworks – Mark 9-16
 
The word for transfigured: “METAMORPHOO”
(a complete change in form and substance).
 
Mark 9:7, “A cloud overshadowed them. And from the cloud came a voice, “This is my son, the Beloved; listen to him!”

• God is saying, this is my son, I love him. Listen to him and obey.

 
The Word of the Lord: Mark 9:22-24

• Church, we need to stop praying, "Jesus if you just…" and Start praying boldly. 

 
Mark 12:1-12 – Parable of the vineyard.

• Wherever we put our faith and trust that is not Jesus will crumble.

 
Mark 14:3-8

• Sometimes we are walking through stuff and God prompts us to do something. Do what we can, Listen and obey.

 
Mark 16

• I take this as an encouragement. When Jesus prompts you, act.

Mark 16:6-7
“Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”
 
Mark 16:19-20,
“After the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, he was taken up into heaven and he sat at the right hand of God. Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.”

This is how Lifeworks… Listen and obey Jesus!
